La Mafia is a Grammy-winning Tejano and Latin music band from Houston, Texas, known for romantic ballads, cumbia, norteño-influenced arrangements, and polished live performances. Led by vocalist Oscar De La Rosa and keyboardist/producer Armando Lichtenberger Jr., the group became one of the most successful Tejano acts of the 1980s and 1990s with songs such as “Me Estoy Enamorando,” “Vida,” “Un Millón de Rosas,” “Estas Tocando Fuego,” “Ahora y Siempre,” “Nuestra Canción,” and “Nadie.” With multiple Grammy and Latin Grammy wins, decades of touring, and a catalog that helped bring Tejano music to wider Latin audiences, La Mafia remains one of the genre’s most important legacy bands.
